Side Braid and Hair for the Mini Diva Giveaway

This is very simple... I don't even know if I need to explain.
I just did your normal pull to the side. Then I braided my hair, to the side.

And added a headband. This is so simple I did it on myself.
But it looks cute.

Thank You Awards!

I would like to thank everyone who has commented on my posts. I don't always get around to thanking you so I would like everyone who has commented on my blog to take this award and pass it on.
Thank you for your comments, you don't realize how much it means to me.

Don't forget to check out the hair style below... Hawiian Request.

Hawiian Request

I recieved this email:

"On Saturday, my littlest is having her first birthday party. The theme is Hawaiian Luau. I need two dos. One for the 1yr old (almost) she has enough hair to make several little ponies or a running pony only on the top. Another for my 2 ¾ yr old- she has fine hair almost to the middle of her back. She will sit patiently- about 20-30 min. If you can just post your ideas on your blogs then I can look at them and hopefully be inspired. "

I want you to know that if you ever need ideas for something special to let me know so that I can help you.

This is my idea for the 1yr old:

I parted the hair and did 3 puff braids
and then one on the side. Then I connected them at the middle with a rubber band. Then I flip-curled the bottom.
when I think of hawiian I think of flowers. So I made this flower bow.
I took many flowers from our house and used the hot-glue gun to secure it to the bottom clip.
NOTE: it doesn't have to be in any order I just added the flowers at random.

Cork-Screw Fancy

This hair do requires a lot of cork-screws so if you need help on it go here for a FABULOUS video! I couldn't figure it out until I watched the video so don't be worried it isn't long at all.

I just divided the hair in half, I inserted a rubberband and then divided the hair as I went along with the cork-screws.
I left the ends a little bit long. I secured the cork-screws with bobby-pins. And curled the ends.

I didn't curl the bottoms just because I didn't have time. But that would look so cute!

Fancy Smancy...

I am so sorry I haven't posted in awhile but at the same time I'm glad. It gives me a reason to post this amazing hair do as sort of a peace offering...
I saw this hair do at Babes in Hairland and I fell in love with it!
I started to do it how she did and I found it difficult. So I changed it a little bit.

I first divided the hair in half and secured it with a rubber-band.

I then took the sections of the pony tail and bobby pinned them where I thought looked cute.
Just to remember... sometimes you have to pin up more than one section before you get the look you want. Don't give up on the first one.

Then I curled the bottom. We have family pictures coming up soon and I think I'm going to do this one for her pictures. It is just so darn cute!

Sorry

I've been at EFY the past week so I haven't been able to post... I'll try to post tomorrow or at least soon. I had a blast at EFY and I'm sad to leave everyone.
These are just a few pictures of the fun week we had.

2 Twists (possible Teen)

Once upon a time, Bailey and the girls were playing dress up when I asked to do her hair... I told her that I would do a princess hairstyle and she accepted.

I did 2 "twists" and connected them together. The bottom twist twisted into the top twist... This would be a cute Teen style too!
And then came the curling... She says curl so cute I had to show you. And then came the modeling... what else to princesses do? She just had to show you how cute I curled her hair... haha. I turned of the music for about 4 days so that you could watch this...

Here are the 3 princesses....

And they lived happily ever after.
The END!
